sequoia 0 Posted September 15, 2012 When you put the screw back, make sure to rotate the rotor a few times in both directions and then check again for tightness. Something that the assemblers seem to rarely do. I find screws stuck in movements all the time. Good point. That's what you did to get my Gen U-Boat running! FWIW, the other screws I commonly find wedged in movements are case clamp screws. They frequently take out the hairspring or can travel their way up the geartrain.
