Asian 7750 Rotor issue

Recommended Posts

When you put the screw back, make sure to rotate the rotor a few times in both directions and then check again for tightness. Something that the assemblers seem to rarely do.

I find screws stuck in movements all the time.

Good point. That's what you did to get my Gen U-Boat running!

Well let's hope it doesn't fall off then.

FWIW, the other screws I commonly find wedged in movements are case clamp screws. They frequently take out the hairspring or can travel their way up the geartrain.

When I first got my Tag Day Date one of the deployant buckle screws fell off into my carpet. I just happened to glance down and see it. This sounds tougher.
