Rolex Seadweller Trusty Time!

Recommended Posts

ad6904

My Rolex Seadweller arrived from Andrew at Trusty time a couple of days ago, couldn't be happier!

This is what $128 dollars gets you; tested to 10atm as well!!!

Honestly couldn't be happier, its had the most wrist time since it arrived, of all my watches. Has the best PR and sweep of all my 21js.

Don't think there is much more BK could offer for the $300 extra it would probably cost, to be honest.

I would snap this up then mate! Can't see how it would get much better. Perhaps just buy the clone version.

Nice watch. Love the crystal and older style bracelet.

Cheers Umpa

How reliable is that 10atm thing? I'm not a diver or anything, but if I wear it to swim, I'm not sure I trust the specs on rep sites when it comes to waterproofing. Especially one that high on a rep, usually 3 or 4atm is the norm?

On the trusted dealer list. Not a forum dealer as he doesn't meet our standards but he is a trusted dealer here

Niiiice. Have been looking at a DSSD.

But lost the thread on the 10 Bar (Atm?) tested. was this proofed by Andrew or was it tested independantly?

I wouldn't do any kind of swimming at all even it had been waterproofed. In the event water got in and damage the watch, it's not like you have a guarantee or anything unlike if you bought a gen.

As a general rule you should never take the word of a dealer for WR ratings, and get it tested yourself.

It is written on the website and I confirmed with Andrew that it had been tested prior to shipping, similarly to what MR is doing now with his Rolexs. I am yet to get it properly tested although it has been dunked under water a few times with no prob.

Just out of curiosity, where does he fall short in terms of meeting standards?
