Set2374 0 Posted October 4, 2012 Most of the n-factory rollies are water proofed to some degree. I swam and snorkles with my sub-c out of the box without issue. DSSD's have a faux HE valve that can depress into the case. If this is not epoxied, there is a real risk of water intrusion into the case. It's a very easy mod to seal the valve, but I would not chance the watch in even a cup of water unsealed. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

JohnPilot 1 Posted October 12, 2012 At 128 USD you don't risk much if you swim with it. For me wearing a watch in sauna or water is a pleasure I won't like to miss.

Luthier 1 Posted October 22, 2012 How reliable is that 10atm thing? I'm not a diver or anything, but if I wear it to swim, I'm not sure I trust the specs on rep sites when it comes to waterproofing. Especially one that high on a rep, usually 3 or 4atm is the norm? As a general rule you should never take the word of a dealer for WR ratings, and get it tested yourself. It is written on the website and I confirmed with Andrew that it had been tested prior to shipping, similarly to what MR is doing now with his Rolexs. I am yet to get it properly tested although it has been dunked under water a few times with no prob. So, you presume, that Andrew, living in Singapore, got your watch from the factory in Guangzhou, and tested it, before shipping to you? Did your watch came from Singapore, or you know shit? ad6904 0 Posted November 6, 2012 Love this watch next one I am adding to the collection I'll post a lume shot tomorrow, it has great lume for out of the box. Mate you honestly can't go wrong! This is still one of my favourite reps, I've taken it swimming with no trouble, wear it daily and it still looks great and it has the best sweep of all my 21js. In fact I think I'll buy another to mod
