HeavyKrush 16 Posted September 21, 2012 Felt the same way C, at least until I sold my 111. I wanted it back immediately so bought a second and wear it often.
Rogerthat 0 Posted September 21, 2012 Of the best Otb reps I would say half are Pam's so you are missing out on the best the hobby has to offer You are better off though once u get hooked the straps are what bankrupt you not the rep watches I definitely have spent more on Pam straps than Pam watches
trailboss99 997 Posted September 21, 2012 It does look good on you tho mate don't even like ones with date windows! Agreed CC, p[ams should not have date windows and definitely no cyclops. Not me. Hard to believe - but I can't afford my own guitar. :P No that hard, many is the artisan who cannot afford his own work.
mianos 0 Posted September 21, 2012 You are better off though once u get hooked the straps are what bankrupt you not the rep watches I definitely have spent more on Pam straps than Pam watches I just purchased my first PAM based on the straps. I am not even into PAMs and I get the feeling this is true.
greg_r 83 Posted September 21, 2012 Not just you. I like my 318 and I want a 127 but I'm left cold by any of the chronos or subs, don't even like ones with date windows! I'm not a fan of the autos - and there's only a couple of the chronos that I like. Panerai's strength are the traditional handwind models imho...

MW1 0 Posted September 21, 2012 .... For not liking Pams? I've never really seen what the fuss is with Pams. So instead of being a nun-believer forever I decided to buy myself a cheapie. I picked up the Pam320 from Tony's Crazy Sale. The problem is, I'm still not feeling the love. Is there something wrong with me - can I be cured... or should I just get me hat and coat and find another hobby? I throw myself at your mercy in the hope of finding out why the whole Pam "thing" has passed me by. Oh I dont know its got something.....I might buy my Dad one of these, he has difficulty seeing the numbers on his watch.
diplosa 0 Posted September 21, 2012 You can start similar topic for any watch... I'm not a big fan of APs and Rolexes. Doesn't mean they're bad, just the matter of a personal taste.

dalboy 2 Posted September 21, 2012 Well i can only speak as a find, and that is that i like you was not into pams .but over the the last couple of years they grew on me, and yes i am now a lover of them..Although it has to be said that i do agree with George in so far as , most are variations on the theme and again in agreement only about 7 or 8 are acutally different to the point of wanting to collect... There is about 3 more left for me to collect before i consider my pam collection complete, as you know one of them being a 253..........Pams !! are like marmite ..." you either love it or you hate it " simple as ..besides , if you just cant get used to yours m2m sales will be the place for some one in a similar position to you find the answer to their question....nothing to do with taste mate..if you cant get on with it ..then move it on..
