TheFlyingSaucer 0 Posted September 26, 2012 Hello everyone, I am new to this forum although I have been reading quite some information on it already. I am looking for learn more about Hublot reps. I want to get a HBB Rose Gold Ceramic or a HBB Black Magic Evolution. I heard there are sometimes issues with the rose gold plating after some time. I also understood that the HBB All Black "Ultimate" and the "Ice Bang II" are currently the 2 closest Hublot rep to their respective gens. I am also looking to get a HBB Luna Rossa's Rubber Strap since the vanilla-smelling strap of the rep I bought on some Spanish beach (before I even knew about this forum) is already missing the Hublot bottom clipping part.... I think this is going to be a hard find though... Cheers everyone!!

DKaiser Söze 0 Posted September 26, 2012 Welcome from The Gulf Coast area. I am new as well but the best advice I have seen so far is "choose your dealer then your watch." I know this may sound a little dificult since you seem to know what you want. I felt the same way. Read. Read. Read. And then read more!

myaz 3 Posted September 26, 2012 Hello from Colorado. I respect your choice in spite of it being a Hublot. The gold plating is microns thick and does wear off in the parts that stick out and take the most wear. As Luthier points out, if you're careful with it, there's no reason why it wouldn't last and last.
