trailboss99 994 Posted October 7, 2012 Sometimes... I wear this one: thanks. You can go now Fit right in this youngling will :yoda: Tags may be a good option for your generation. +1, Tag has quite a few at the lower end of the scale when it comes to decent watches, an Aquaracer or an F1 are in the price bracket you could easily pull off and are nice pieces that are repped well. Farminho 0 Posted October 7, 2012 I was wearing a gen datejust at 18 wore it every day, looked fine with jeans & t shirt as well as for work (although 'work' back then was photocopying and making brews!)
aoeu 0 Posted October 7, 2012 Age has nothing do do with wrist wear, If you ever have to stop and think "I don't know if I can pull of wearing this watch" you immediately have admitted defeat, failed, don't even bother. +69,105 to you. Thanks for saying what needs to be said. Said it before; will say it again. Wear what YOU like and what makes YOU happy. Granted, there are times where you have to conform. But for all other times, it's all your decision all the way. Even if you have to wear a uniform to work (as I do), you can still accessorize any way you want in most cases. Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted October 7, 2012 This is what I was wearing when I was 19.... Times have changed- now I would go for a Tag or Omega.

I work in a jeans and tshirt office and go to uni. I might expand my searches to a breitling or something provided it's cost friendly. I've got a list of omega/TAG watches so far.. anyone have advice for shipping to Australia? JUST AS LONG AS HE STAYS OFF OF MY LAWN!!!!
SjefKroket 0 Posted October 7, 2012 I was wearing a mondaine StopToGo when i was 19. Not easy to get that, as it's a very rare watch. But what should you wear? Wear something you enjoy when wondering about the time. Don't buy a watch you don't like, just to brag about it. Everybody who notice you are wearing a rolex, know it's fake, and probally think it's a cheap 20 dollar watch bought on the beach. I would recommend, as i like them myself very much, just some nice gentlemen's watch. Something like IWC... (going to be my next ones) currently enjoying a Bell&Ross 01-92 black on my wrist. good luck!

moey 0 Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) i've spent about 6 hours today looking at watches. ttw168.com/ went down so my bookmarks aren't useful any more. all i'm using is http://www.silix-pri...index&cPath=116 and Perfect clones http://www.1-pc8838.com/index.php . Are there any other sites that's not mentioned in the "RWG trusted dealers" thread? Edited October 7, 2012 by moey

Plenty of other dealers there

NFleischer 4,355 Posted October 7, 2012 A lot of young people are not even in to watches anymore- hi tech cell phones are the preference. Most I see here in NYC seem to like the big Gold Michael Kors type chronos.
Trolex 0 Posted October 7, 2012 My parents bought me a rolex when I was in college, for a long time it was the only watch I ever wore and nobody seemed bothered one way or another and not once was I asked "is it real?" I'm glad nobody asked though, because it was a fake hahaha. I respect a young guy that loves watches - but do yourself a favor and ask yourself if you'd question a classmate of yours if they walked in wearing the watch. Most people don't know what watches cost, but they do recognize certain heavily advertised brands. I don't have any recommendations for you because I have absolutely no idea what you like. A site for you to look through that has a pretty well laid out format and a ton of watches is www.puretime.co - most people on here will not recommend them. They're more expensive than a lot of the other dealers, but IMO they're a great resource to browse through.
Jza 1 Posted November 17, 2012 (edited) Check this site out, grommet. http://www.watchismo...e.aspx?size=200 If I was your age, these watches would appeal to me. Edited November 17, 2012 by Jza
Jza 1 Posted November 17, 2012 (edited) I just read your first entry. Maybe that site is a little too "bright" for you. Although I'm in my 30s, I like how those "new school" watch co.'s are pushing the envelope in regards to form and function. But I agree with some of the guys above suggesting a Tag or an Omega for your age strata. But fuck what is age appropriate, it's more like are you "established"?, young hollywood or a young pro athletes can be seen wearing most of the watches spoken of in this forum, grom.
