Rabeen 1 Posted October 12, 2012 It's not Christmas, or my birthday for another month but I have the same excited feeling of years gone by. I'm 37. However, after only 'knowing' you all for a little under a week, I've placed an order for a Black Seawolf from Toro and frankly it's all I've been thinking about! Ordered Tuesday, QC pictures arrived today and all looks brilliant (but all I know is what I've gleaned from you guys) and will be posted on Monday. I've even gone for an extra strap too as I couldn't decide between the steel bracelet and the Ocean Racer rubber strap. Do I need specialist tools to change the strap myself or better off taking to an expert? Sorry if this is a question I should have been able to find the answer too myself. The Chirstmas eve feeling will continue until it arrives I suspect. Thanks again for such a well put together forum, Rabeen

dalboy 2 Posted October 12, 2012 Your first choice is a great one ..in regards of watch and dealer..the only downside is from this point on you will take all the overtime on offer at work... This Rep lark will keep you skint.. Dal........
Del 4,463 Posted October 12, 2012 Well done! You will need some small watch screwdrivers to adjust the bracelet, a springbar tool to remove the bracelet (although I find a small screwdriver works better on the Seawolf bracelet) and a sharp knife to cut the Ocean Racer rubber strap to size. That should do it! (Be careful cutting the rubber strap - cut one section at a time and then check the size and position that the clasp will sit on your wrist. You only get one shot at sizing an Ocean Racer! There is a small amount of adjustment in the clasp so make sure that it is set somewhere around the middle position so you can tighten and slacken the strap for best comfort once it is cut to size.) Rabeen 1 Posted October 12, 2012 Thanks Del, hmm perhaps a little more involved than I thought, but I'll give it a go - got to start somewhere! The anticipation of simply awaiting the QC pictures was insane, I'll not survive the week, knowing it's on its way (hopefully). I'm already thinking of what next?. Watches have become an obsession, I even paused the 'Plane Crash' on TV last night to see what watch (Breitling Professional) the rescue leader was wearing... Oh dear.
