Inputs on Date change problem on 2836

Recommended Posts

Did some research on forum n web on this issue.

Was reading Cybee's post on keyless works. Cybee...Thx for putting it together.

I have a 2836 sub 16610. I can wind and adjust the time via the stem ( positions 1 n 3). However,I am intermittently be able to adjust the date ( stem at position 2). Sometimes the date is not changed and the stem will "freewheel'.

Strangely, the date can change when I adjust the time past midnite (stem at position 3). After the latter, I can sometimes adjust the date again for several dates ... Then it Freewheels again.. W no date change.

I noticed most problems related to keyless works affect mainly the time/ hands adjustment ( position 3) and date (position 2).... While my issue is date only.

In your opinion, Does this relate to keyless works? Or other parts of mechanism?..

Could it be stem problem?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Andepad

10:10 Watch Repair

sounds like the date corrector broke or slipped out of the keyless cover.
