reference 2499 perpetual calendar chronographs housed in platinum, which happens to belong to man named Clapton, Eric Clapton (est. $2.7m-$4.2m). We are going to go into greater detail on all three of these watches, but that will come with time. What you need to know now is that all three of these watches, along with a few dozen other highlights from the November 12th Geneva sale are on display in NY this weekend. And if you like watches, you NEED to see them.

What: Christie's November 12th Geneva Watch Sale Preview

Where: Christie's 20 Rockefeller Center, at 50th Street

When: Oct 13th and 14th from 10am-6pm, and October 15th from 10am-5pm.

I find this kind of watch quite boring. My tastes will change as I get older I'm sure.

WIth time you start to appriciate the history and work put into a watch like this, more like a piece of art then something that tells time.

And afterall, it's a fuckin' Patek, best watch there is, right? :D
