Help! PAM111 stopped ticking

Recommended Posts

Chris_R

Suddenly my 3 month old PAM from toro has stopped ticking.

Any ideas for a quick fix? Or alternatively a repair contact in the UK (midlands area)

All screws appear in place at first glance. Nothing seems loose inside, but I haven't removed the back case yet.

I know it sounds a bit brutal but, slap it in the palm of your hand face down. The same thing happened to mine about a year ago and it still runs a treat. Hope this helps.

remove the caseback carefully blow some clean air inside. Some times there are dirt or dust inside the movements which will certainly stop the wheel. If that doesnt work it could just need to be serviced. Easy fix it sounds like.

Yep you're right! It's H factory.

I'll give the suggestions a try.

Check all screws are in place, so common for one to come loose and trapped in movement.
