What happened to the $50 "noobmariners"?

Buddy likes mine and I said they are cheap, good ones for $50...........that does not seem to be the case anymore. Also after Roberts passing who can we get a rep from and have it serviced at the time of sale for cheap. I hate the thought of running em dry and really dont want to run a 7750 dry and am not paying $300+ to get it serviced in the US............anyone?

Narikaa or Timeshops for cheap subs, although WI has also listed some cheap stuff too recently IIRC.

CLS / 10:10 Watch repair for servicing states-side.

Gots to send reps to 10:10 or Wiz for service, Most of the TD's are BS for proper servicing and even QC half the time.

PS: No one spends $50 for a rep and has it serviced.

Just Sayin...

I've bought maybe 50 or 60 reps over the years, and I don't even know where I would get one serviced....I guess "running them dry" ain't all THAT bad!!! :crab: :crab:

Got ya on a $50 rep, why get it serviced when a movement is $15, its the 7750's that really bug me though. I remember Robert offered a service on those in Bangkok for $60 ish I think, Robert was a great loss to this forum. I have not bought anything since.
