jandr2007 0 Posted October 27, 2012 Hi. I am seriously considering buying one of these having read a couple of the reviews here, one being Ricky Lee. Just one question really, is it OK to wear this watch whilst swimming or showering? I would appreciate feedback from anyone with any experience of this watch - thanks in advance
seclark007 11 Posted October 27, 2012 All watches, even gens 'should' be suspect until tested. That said, your chances are better with a gen than with a rep. You should be ok with an Alpha, but I'd still get it tested.

Pob 73 Posted October 27, 2012 If you go to your local watchsmith and test it it wouldn't cost much and you'll be much safer
Rob Roy 35 Posted October 27, 2012 I have 4 of these watches 2 multifunction and 1 blue face and 1 black face - Just super for the money but they are very heavy watches (Well Built and sturdy) You can swim with them as they have a 100m water resistance rating , I have showered with them many times.( Because the wife wont ) Again if you do not like a heavy watch then stay clear. The seagull movement's they use are very good indeed better than some would have you believe. Go for it as you will be very pleasantly surprised. Cheers Col
HeavyKrush 16 Posted October 27, 2012 $10-$12 to have a mall watch smith pressure check it. I'd go that route, better safe than sorry.

Rob Roy 35 Posted October 27, 2012 i think alpha's are ok, but even then you should probably be careful. They have good and bad I agree , The Seamaster Chrono Series are very good indeed. Alpha are also great to deal with as well as great delivery. Col
