sconehead 5 Posted January 23, 2010 Good pick up Sam This seller on e-bay, http://shop.ebay.co.uk/dyrcsszw216/m.html?...p;_trksid=p4340 is supposedly selling DW cases and stuff. I've pm'd him there and he seems very 'rep friendly' if you get my meaning, even so far as to having non-auto movements...

Watchdog 0 Posted March 8, 2010 I too am close to ordering. However, I am debating about the basic A7750 movement (automatic) in the 15mm case or the A7750 Modified ( hand wind )which fits in the 14mm case which is ostensibly what the Gen is. The modified is a bit more pricey though. What did you get?
KBH 7 Posted March 9, 2010 You can also get the automatic and buy an extra case back if you decide to remove the rotor and winding gears later. You should also make sure you're getting all the correct engraving on the case and case back. It doesn't come standard on the watches he has listed. Might be an extra, but I don't really know. Might be an extra, but I don't really know. The back is engraved (inside!) but not the case between the lugs. That engraving alone adds $200.
Watchdog 0 Posted March 9, 2010 RU sure? He sent me pics and they clearly have serial numbers between the lugs.
trailboss99 996 Posted March 9, 2010 Um, Noddy mate, that engraving adds 20 dollars, not 200. And for here at the forums David quotes the engraved price. He knows what we want. Col.

Price of $200 is absolutely bloody ridiculous (I've done engraving, I know what's involved) but here is his email: "hello the engrave cost is 200 usd". So if there is a mistake it is his not mine! I wrote back and questioned it and got no response at all.

Noddy 0 Posted March 10, 2010 It sounds like he's trying to say $200 with the correct engravings. Like I said it is probably a language barrier thing but I've tried to keep it as simple as possible and the previous conversations had pinned the price of the watch at $200 plus shipping and then I asked about engraving and was told it was "extra". I hope it is a misunderstanding but...
