I rather fancy the idea of differentiated bezels, if it was an available concept. Depends whether it can be done logistically I guess.

Two or three various materials would make the watch stand out from the crowd, and give the potential owner more options than just a coloured dial.

Serious question though... would use of different metals in a dive watch potentially set up the possibility of galvanic corrosion?

I can't see SS bezel on bronze case, or vice versa.

@ Richard,

No , it would not be in the salt long enough for dissimilar metals to affect it, and one would hope it was washed after use.

@Luthier- Gilt on a s/s case ( admittedly PVD coated )

Shame on you!

That looks like a serious dive watch, not some playboys toy!

Hey all, just came across this now.

Jesus Luthier, with all the watch designing and your day job do you ever get time for anything else??????

Know I'm resurrecting this from last Dec, don't know if it's finished or if the progress is on hold due to the first RWG watch coming close to completion, and not sure if suggestions are still welcomed.....

Not a diver so don't understand how the functions are important or not, so that I'd leave to experts who know better.

Saw Jorans designs for the logo, and didn't see (or missed) bracelet discussions.

I would presume this would be on rubber.

Could I suggest as like IWC the letters RWG go on one side ot the strap but lengthwise as opposed to width ways like IWC do it.

Then on the other side cut out the RWG logo (hopefully Joran's perfected it by then) as they do with the circles in the Breitling Ocean Racer strap.

That might look cool

On the caseback (which will not be seen while wearing so why need RWG symbol on there if it's on the strap) since the name appears to now be Madfish rather than Dolphin, have a mad looking/evil looking fish with mouth gaping about to swallow the world.....since RWG will soon take over the world if it keeps growing members so quick!!!!

Here's a pic similar to the deep sea fish from Nemo to give an idea what way I'm thinking.

Just my few humble thoughts.

Oh and no cyclops pleeeeaaase...would ruin a great looking dial

Eitherway I know Luthier will come up with something special again.

Count me in for one of each this time!!!

Cheers

Brian

+1 to the above. Pins&spikes-like bezel is totally corresponds to the title on the dial :)
