Soopah Spy 0 Posted November 1, 2012 Would you, please, delete my post from yours? No need to overload the page. A question - I can order cyclop on date, should I do it? No problem, Luth, thanks for mentioning it. I would say, if it's just the date, cyclops. If it's day AND date, then don't. I've never seen a day/date with cyclops that looked quite correct. Luthier 1 Posted November 1, 2012 I've never see ANY Day/Date with cyclops. Personally, I like cyclops, it make numbers bigger. Thanks, SS!
digger2 0 Posted November 1, 2012 If cyclop under crystal Yes, but if outside No I think.
oscarmadfish 0 Posted November 1, 2012 as long as it doesn't say fuckin "Dolphin" on the dial I'm in...who the fuck wants a watch that says Dolphin??? I suppose it could have a "flipper-lock" clasp to go along with it and the rubber strap could smell of sardines and salt water NO DOLPHIN!!! But dolphins are cool! Probably smarter than the average RWG member as well :P so is a goldfish

offshore 0 Posted November 2, 2012 For mine...no day, no cyclops. Whilst it is being touted as an "around the town sports watch" it is still (trying to) descend from a proper tool watch. Just as it should have a one way bezel, ( or a lock bezel like the Squale 2002)...it still needs to fullfill the fundamentals of a divers watch....decent lume, good level of water resistance, large readable numbers et al, but it doesn't need cyclops to read the date, The date is hardly life threatening to a diver, and the day of the week even less so. When I played football, I always had clean jersey, clean boots and socks pulled up, 'cos the old man used to say "If you can't play the game, at least look a like a footballer" Same thing applies to tool watches! Mazz 62 Posted November 2, 2012 I have raised bezel like luth wants on my Divex divers don't have any problems with it catching on anything and I think it looks great real aggressive

trailboss99 996 Posted November 2, 2012 I like that you have kept design elements that relate it to other RWG watches you created, just like one can tell an AP or PAM at a glance. ^^^^ This Marc, I especially asked factory, to what point they can waterproof the watch, they said 20ATI, then I asked what about 30ATI, and they said - we can, but it would need thicker glass and different crown construction, so, maybe $12-$14 more. I said fuck it, just do it. And they did some work, and came back to me with guaranteed 30ATI. :whoohoo: Great news!
Member X 91 Posted November 2, 2012 No cyclops for me! They never look that great IMO, and it would spoil the clean, uncluttered look of the dial and the 'deep' look of the gap between the dial and the crystal. SD is way cooler than Sub, no?

SliceMaster 281 Posted November 2, 2012 AR is always important me thinks +100 And plz no day maybe just date
trailboss99 996 Posted November 2, 2012 AR is always important me thinks +100 Maybe, but NOT on the outside. It's a diver and no diver should have AR on the outside of a crystal. If it does, it's just a fashion wannabe diver's and that would suck. Cyclops is not needed (why do I even need to state this?) but if it must be it should be on the underside of the crystal.
