digger2 0 Posted November 2, 2012 It feels like we should answer the basic question about this being a desk diver or not. Big difference in how to react to the latest posts depending of that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Luthier 1 Posted November 2, 2012 I can repeat - I'm trying to create a real tool watch, that also could be elegant enough to wear it on daily basis.
Balad1 0 Posted November 3, 2012 Here is an interesting "Build Your Own Dive Watch" application from Zenton Watches. http://www.zentonwatches.com/build-your-watch/

Luth already answered this a couple pages back. Read you must... :yoda: I have read it, not so well phrased by me, I ment to bring the question up again, what about things that have small impact on the dive aspects of the watch but add something that makes it look good, like for example should a rotating inner bezel be ok even if we get less waterproofness in the long run because of the extra crown? I say yes.
myaz 3 Posted November 3, 2012 OK, I'll try to explain. How many of you will REALLY use this watch, as a Diver? 2-5, maybe. Rest - 295, will use it as a watch, not as a tool. Sure, not an every day beater, we have plenty of great watches, but it will be one in collection. That's why I didn't want to make just a can with crown on the chain, like some "manly" divers. How often you wear such a watch? Maybe, once in a few months. So, I wanted to create the watch, that can be a "watch", and a "tool". The iconic submariner has a date, as do others. That helps to make it a utilitarian everyday watch. I vote for date and cyclops. Also your graphics with a box around the name and date looks very appealing. Here's a suggestion for another name. Narwhal also spelled Narval and Narhval Note: you could incorporate a spiral shaped second hand like in the picture.....might be too much
Luthier 1 Posted November 3, 2012 @digger2 - I'll employ second crown ONLY, if the factory will guarantee the same level of waterproofing, like on main crown. @myaz - bro, we think absolutely identical way, but the crowd hate cyclops and the strip....
