Your personal thoughts on oversized watches!

Nice Vostok. Small, true, but I have no problems with its size. I'd put it right in the rotation with the other ones.

They say life begins at 50 and so do watches, 50mm that is.

I started not wanting to go above 42mm. (71/4" wrist- only 5'7"). Since I joined the forum I got the 44mm PAM craze

and I have a SOH @46mm. I won't go bigger. Still, I feel the best for me is 42-43mm. I have a old Gen DJ @ 36mm; and that is kinda small.

Still, it depends on the watch, some wear much bigger despite being the same size. The thickness is very important- ie. 45mm Rads

Problem with smaller watches these days is... even though you like them, people around you think you're poor, since bigger watches are ''cool'' now among ordinary people

47mm Pam 305 is fine on a 7.5"wrist.. the angle of the pic makes it look a bit bigger though

I love big watches and enjoy many of them. I have to limit them to the max of 47 mm. Anything under 40 mm is small for me (except for the Santo 100)

7.5" wrists for me, and hands like shovels.... Always had an aversion to larger watches, but Pams have changed that.

I've got 7.25" wrists, personally I think anything over 42mm looks ridiculous on me.

My wrist is almost exactly 7.0 inches, and my 45.5mm PO fits just fine.

LOL, My wife actually likes bigger watches on me, I just feel more comfortable with 40 - 42mm.

Some of those look ridiculous-you might as well just hang it from your neck!

*ducking down low*

If you have a big wrist then matching it in size makes sense, but when it's even bigger than you're already big wrists?!

What's next, big ass Harry Caray glasses?

For me 44mm is the perfect size, but it is nice to have a bit of variety in your collection. Personally, couldn't ware any thing over 47mm.

But as people have said - its all relative

I seem to now like all my watches to be min 44, ....omega PO, 45mm .... bell and Ross, BR 01-92, 46mm...I have gen Rolex, sub, and very rarely were it, looks small compared to others....my wrists are 8inch, big hands....so like others say its relative..
