New Tag Carrera 36 replica from timeshop.net

Recommended Posts

xdluvx

I am looking to purchase an all black Tag Carrera 36. I saw that timeshop.net recently released a replica of this Tag. I will mostly likely settle with a quartz since the 7750 models are too expensive for me at the moment. Does anyone know the difference between the timeshop replicas vs watch internationals? Or does anyone know of a better place to get this watch? Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

To be honest - I think Jeff was just pointing out that this type of question is asked all the time here on RWG! You need to do your own research on your intended purchase - all the info is right here, if the better movements are out of your price range - go for a cheapie and see how it suits you. I guarantee that if you are serious about this hobby you will soon be wanting to spend on a "high end" rep! Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Thanks, I understand. I've been doing some research and will continue to do more. I am new to all of this...obviously ha. I appreciate the advice.

They are probably the same quartz rep, go with the dealer you feel most comfortable with.

It's not like there are a lot of factories making the quartz version, if I had to guess, just one.

Usually (not always) quartz versions have cheaper cases, bracelets, glass, and everything else.

Not sure...I'm guessing there was a link from one of the forums I read...

WI's site isn't kept up to date. Best to send Mary an email with questions.

Just got mine from the mail man... Great watch however the date was kinda hard to adjust at first I thought it was broken but then it just turned don't know why. Watches International hooked it up with the ss bracelet. Will post a review after a few days.

MrEvo9 Is this the A7750 version? From where did you order it from? I have been looking for one like this with the A7750 movements, but all the TDs are out of stock now.
