A bit of smooth talking and the unwitting ebay guy can't believe his good fortune or maybe he thinks he drove a hard bargain buying it cheap! The guy clearly hasn't realised the significance of mismatch of numbers otherwise he'd have hidden the evidence. I know plenty of people that would fall for it (just off to cancel my bid)!
