Ice Bang V6 - how better improved/modded ?

Recommended Posts

zak3737

Ok so I got my Ice Bang last week, and highly delighted I am too, and so far, the movement seems to be very good.

However, I'm wondering - should I consider having it 'serviced/cleaned/lubed' with a specialist just to set it up as good as it can be from the start ?

Also - what other mods are available perhaps ? I know people get re-Lume's etc, but not sure in all honesty whether thats really neccessary.......

Suggestions ? Where /who ??

Thx :B):

Hey,

this question iam very interested in too.

I´m almost pulling the trigger on a Hublot v6 and want to know what can be modded to get closer on a gen....

Maybe you should say where ya from to let the guys help you to that question, where/who.

Is it possible that you can do me a favor and upload some pics of your Ice Bang?

Have a good one!

I think its not specially about the movement ... i guess he wants to know what can be modded on an v6 to get it closer on a gen ... for example crystal etc.

I'm in UK.

Actually guys, I was thinking IF the movement should be serviced/lubed as I had read some reports that perhaps they didnt come out of the factory in as good condition as perhaps they could be......but maybe i'm unduly worrying.

As far as 'getting it closer to 'gen', in all honesty, its so pristine that I doubt I know anyone or am likely to run into anyone that would know the difference,or have the faintest clue as to whether its gen or not,

apart from the fact that they'd wonder IF I could actually afford a Hublot. :)

I love this watch.......

Very nice! That's definitely the issue that would put me off a Hublot, too pricey too pull of without the matching car at least!

I have the exact same one - does your clasp fasten tightly? Mine is a little loose and flappy..

The faded dial also put me off - which I'm still not sure if its the same on the Gen.

Watch out for scratches on the bezel!

btw the v6 hublot are almost genuine, i compare my evolution hublot against the real one in selfridges and there is only the slightest differences; the date wheel on my version should be abit shiny other than that i doubt anyone can tell if its fake... it is hard to rock a hublot as the rrp is extraordinary high compared to rolex, my version cost £13,000 in selfridges!

Is the sunken date wheel not a massive give away? I'm no expert on Hublot. Has a 7753 instead of a 7750 not been fitted to sort this as on Panerai reps? Sorry if this is old ground, I did search 7753 in the hublot section with no results

Listen mate , enjoy your watch as it is for now, whenever in distant future your watch starts malfunctioning then send it to one of our mods for service.

Gen Hublot Big Bang have a sunken datewheel as well. The movement is 7750 based.
