Nel's 0 Posted December 9, 2012 Hi all, Noob here This will be my first buy. Can anyone tell what the deference is between these two watches, other than the price? Thanks http://www.timeshops.net/11942-xfro4990-rolex-daytona-white-dial-tt-yg-ss-asian-7750-28800bph.html http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_158_220&products_id=1875
vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted December 9, 2012 don't quote me, but I believe that the seconds at 6 are time bombs and need graphite treatment and a ton of other work to keep them alive.... they literally implode. the seconds at 9 are fine. so don't buy the bomb. please correct me if I'm wrong guys.... HWG 11 Posted December 9, 2012 I would not recommend a Daytona with running seconds at the 6:00 position. @9 is ok to go.

My heart was set on a silver and gold white face Daytona, So this one with the seconds @ 9 would be the way to go. and wont blow my wrist off lol? http://www.silix-pri...roducts_id=1875 Thanks guys for replying to my post. sardonix 1 Posted December 11, 2012 Only down thing on sec at 9 is that the spacing of the chrono's is off. If you can live with that go for sec at 9 You could considder a cheap 21J chrono spacing is better, down thing the big second hand runs all the time. There is no perfect rep Daytona in modern versions.

cuddilyteddy 0 Posted December 13, 2012 If you run a search on different movements it will explain the differences very well. I did that a while back and found it incredibly helpful.
