Pennapolis 0 Posted December 22, 2012 Just a short "howdy do." I've been collecting automatic watches for just over a year now. My interest is to a point now where I'd like to create my own homage watches.....just to see how they turn out. Perhaps make a few for myself and family members. If I really like it, maybe do it as a side job in my spare time. I've torn apart lots of engines and equipment and taught myself how to troubleshoot and build computers........so I should be able to do a decent job......or so I hope! LOL! I'm an Air Force veteran. I still work for the Air Force doing what I used to do only now as a civil servant. I work at the aircraft "bone yard" out here in the desert at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson. I've lived with my "Island Girl" for 8 years now and between the two of us we have 5 kids. I have 3 lovely daughters 7 to 15 years old. I found this forum when someone in the Homage Forum referred to it. I'll be bouncing between the two as some of you do as well. I also am an active member of the Kia Soul Forum. Looking forward to starting my first project : a type A pilot watch. Right now, I'm gathering as much info and tools before I dive into it. Thanks, and Merry Christmas! Pennapolis!
