For me the Breguet is accurate but not that pretty.

Now this is pretty.

I'm with you guys, this is my first rep, I was originally going to go for a nice safe, cheap Rolex. Have just ordered one of those lovely JLC tourbys from Mary. Super excited!!

This tourby on pictures of JLC is nice, but has no one point, that shows seconds. ST-8000 has it. Sharp point, that runs along surrounding subdial.

ST-8002 is automatic version of ST-8000, but cost $160 more.

Yeah that's one tiny caveat I can live with.

Corv I am probably in danger of becoming a copycat here but that is fricking BEAUTIFUL. If you manage to track down a source please let us know or PM me. I am becoming dangerously obsessed with tourbys!

JLC not arrived yet but still, so much want......

Maybe one of the TDs can find it. Josh (Perfect Clones) has a black dial version posted on his website, although I'll admit I like the white-dial version you referenced better.

That's the Hangzhou 3900 movement, BTW.

wow $1300 territory is some serious wedge!

That's because the case is white gold.

However, when you're looking at a white gold watch, you're not seeing white gold, you're seeing the rhodium plating on top of the white gold. You never see unplated white gold because it looks like crap.

Right now I'm getting my Breguet rhodium plated. Not sure what the cost will be but I'll guarantee it's less than the $520 difference between the two watches JDCKent linked to.

I think I may be selling some watches off after seeing this..... simply stunning!

this may now leap frog the AP that was next in line on the hitlist

OK, so how do I buy this watch? I don't think i've seen it in any of the trusted dealers? (or maybe this is a Gen, and I didn't read)

I use the leg of the tourbillon cage that is opposite to the driving gear as my second hand on that watch, it's not that difficult after you get used to it.

Marvelous Replica is where this particular one came from, who are a TD here, I have seen it in his photo album, but would bet some of our other TD's would also have access to it if you asked.. think circa $550 mark...... I'm up for one of these and the Donerix or similar as I love this combo! BUT bear in mind this is an aftermarket strap....

Thinking of moving on my Gen Sunto & Citizen Divers to allow..

Tourbies are the one thing that I really do prefer in a gen. Not that they are bad in reps, it is just that for me if the tourbie is nice, the case back is much more closed, and in the gens they have the ability to have both.

I love the case backs on these, I wish some of the others were a little more creative...

That must be a standard skeleton tourby movement, from the front side looks like it might be a Hangzhou. I've seen it on an Audemars Piguet and here it is on a Breguet:

I believe it is, Dee. Look at the details of the tourby (large 4th wheel w/ the brushed finish, etc...) in that movement.
