For me the Breguet is accurate but not that pretty.

Hi

I have to confess being bitten by the tourbi bug

Got two now I got them only because I love the look and they feel great to wear

Can watch the movement especially the Cartier for ages

intend selling I have a one way obsession

tnanks to you guys

The write up on the jlc was excellent I'm also

tempted now with the Franck muller aeternitas

Ken

Love the cartier!

That must be a standard skeleton tourby movement, from the front side looks like it might be a Hangzhou. I've seen it on an Audemars Piguet and here it is on a Breguet:

wow, the exposed back is amazing.

Here's a photographic comparison of the Franck Muller Aeternitas 2 rep to its gen. Not 100% accurate to the gen, but, of course, most tourby reps aren't.

Don't expect that on most tourbies. The JLC mentioned in this thread, I have it stainless steel - here's what the backside looks like - and the backside of my other toubies look very similar (the Breguet, a Parmigian Fleurier, and another JLC):

From any distance the strap looks ok, but wearing it you'll know it could be better. I replaced it with a genuine alligator strap from Frankie at Banda - fantastic for only $100, looks much better in person than on his website, and always my default for dress straps.

FYI, Banda is listed in the "Other Dealers" section of the main Trusted Dealers thread here. You have to be patient with Frankie, he's not fast, but I like the product for the price. For anything more "interesting" (strap-wise) I like Serge, one of our TDs here.

I don't want some queer fish on my watches. I need waves, man waves.

My JLC had to be sent back to the factory due to qc issues with the clasp. Just got an email to say that it is now back and fine and has been dispatched today with tracking number. I've been Jonesing pretty hard so am now looking forward to checking the tracking at least 20 times per day for the next couple of weeks.

Cannot wait to get my paws on it.... pics guaranteed!

No, great service from WI. Whilst taking the QC pics Rochest noticed the clasp wasn't right and sent it back with the accordant delay. With first rep patience issues I had been checking my emails daily to see when it was ready to dispatch.
