KrakDrazh 0 Posted December 23, 2012 Would love to get some help identifying this nautilus. It is supposed to have sw 200 movement and being a 42" jumbo, but I don't find any nautilus watches on any dealers page with sw 200 in that size. So I guess that either it have another movement, the size is actually 40" or it is a sw 200 size 42". This dial look also a lot more metallic than any qc and wristies i have seen on other watches. All input would be appreciated to help me figure this out! :-D
Luthier 1 Posted December 23, 2012 Do you see stamp "SW-200-1" on the movement, near balance wheel? It's definitely doesn't look, like 21j, and DW location pointing on Sellita.
RichardMiami 4 Posted December 23, 2012 From the measurement stick you have next to the watch, it appears to be 42mm - the jumbo version
Luthier 1 Posted December 23, 2012 Richard, he said 42" (inches), and I trust him.

KrakDrazh 0 Posted December 23, 2012 The thing is that at puretime.co both the best edition and the jumbo is supposed to be 40". Are they measuring wrong or is this another version?
KrakDrazh 0 Posted December 23, 2012 And I mean mm and not inches, sorry. ;-)
Luthier 1 Posted December 23, 2012 Depend, how you measure - side to side, of corner to corner. Side by side - 36mm. Corner to corner - 40mm. Side by side with CGs and left side bulge - 39mm.
Dendo 93 Posted December 23, 2012 Why do the stick markers at 12 o'clock always seem squint, particularly the one on the left? Even on the gen - must be an optical illusion

TT88 1 Posted December 24, 2012 Depend, how you measure - side to side, of corner to corner. Side by side - 36mm. Corner to corner - 40mm. Side by side with CGs and left side bulge - 39mm. pic 2 is the correct way to reference case size. 40mm for the pp. Why do the stick markers at 12 o'clock always seem squint, particularly the one on the left? Even on the gen - must be an optical illusion ya! agreed! saw a couple of gens and the index at 12 were awful as well.
KrakDrazh 0 Posted December 24, 2012 So what do you folks think about the Blue dial, is it supposed to look this metallic? Doesn't seem to have the same reflections as the other posted pictures of nautilus watches. Or is it only because of the camera that shot these ones? Merry Christmas folks! honeybear 0 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) This is definitely the "1:1" version of the Nautilus. It has the correct date wheel overlay and date window position, and the custom shaped rotor. The color of the dial changes depending on the lighting and angle, and it can look quite metallic under some lighting conditions. This are photos of mine under different lighting conditions. Thanks for all the help! Do this watch get any wrist time and at what occassions/or what kind of clothes do you wear it with? If it doesn't get any wrist time, why? Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas!

I wear it to the office pretty regularly (sports coat, button down shirts and khakis), it's an extremely comfortable watch to wear, and the build quality is excellent. mianos 0 Posted December 25, 2012 I agree, it is a very wearable watch. No he has ever recognised mine as a fancy watch aside from a family friend asking if it was platinum. I have reverse rep effect, people ask my why I am not wearing a Rolex when they see something else.
