Bobbylah 135 Posted January 5, 2013 Hey all, Have a cheapie 21j with GMT that I passed onto another member and upon receipt the second hand keep stopping at the same point (28 sec. mark). He has fully wound the watch and cycled all of the hands a few times so it does not seem to be catching on another hand. Any suggestions? He is a newbie so has not pulled the movement and I am not sure he feels comfortable going that route. I have offered a refund, but wondering if anyone has any ideas before he ships it back to me. Thanks

Bobbylah 135 Posted January 5, 2013 So the solution is is press out the crystal some or recess the movement a little?
scorpion 0 Posted January 5, 2013 My DSSD had same issue and despite a visit to the TDs watchsmith it never worked correctly again and was replaced :-( I never found out what caused it at first it was better when I loosened the movement screws but it always stopped in same place at random times. dalboy 2 Posted January 5, 2013 So the solution is is press out the crystal some or recess the movement a little? You may be able to bend slightly the hand to miss the curve of the crystal. Note i said " SLIGHTLY " Dal..
