Movement serial numbers

Do the Rolex replicas have a serial number stamped on their movements. My Gold Day Date II has, '25 Jewels ROLEX' (then the Rolex Crown emblem above), then '1940 S.A.' The 1940 is supposed to be the serial number.

Appreciate any help.

Yes they do but it's on one of the bridges, not the rotor.

Of cause what you have shown there is nothing like a Rolex MVT.
