Woodster 0 Posted January 9, 2013 prooper Noob question so feel free chuckle at me.... just got my PAM 111 V3 Noob from Mary & Rochest (pictures to be posted later) and its dynamite! It is my first mechanical watch and I want to make sure i'm doing things correctly. When i'm winding the watch to 'charge it' so to speak, do I pull the crown out fully (so the hands move) or just out to the first notch and wind it? Cheers! toehh 0 Posted January 9, 2013 I believe you don't even have to pull the crown to wind a PAM. It's like that with my 253 anyway. Just open your crownguard and turn the crown
Crusader 0 Posted January 9, 2013 No notches, no pulling. Just open the lever and wind away
chartoune 0 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Or you could try wearing it, I heard it sometimes works with mechanical watches! Edited January 9, 2013 by chartoune
houndoggie 58 Posted January 9, 2013 Or you could try wearing it, I heard it sometimes workes with mechanical watches! not on a handwind PAM. stem has typically 3 positions. 0 is the winding position 1 is the date set and/or GMT hand set (one click out) 2 is time set (2 clicks out)
ron76 0 Posted January 9, 2013 Or you could try wearing it, I heard it sometimes works with mechanical watches! A PAM111 has a hand wind movement, you have to wind it by hand.
