C0DY 0 Posted January 15, 2013 G'day Lads, Just wanted to introduce myself and say this site is brilliant. I found this site by accident, well actually my story starts off several months ago... I was overseas for business and ended up in Dubai. My mate and I went to the Mall of Dubai because he wanted to buy a Rolex and that is where I saw it. The TAG HEUER CARRERA CALIBRE 16 DAY DATE. It took all my strength to walk out of that shop without one. I just wouldn't have been able to justify dropping $3k on a watch to the wife. I got back to Australia and all my watches just weren't cutting it, also colours seemed dull, food had lost it's taste blah blah blah... I'm sure some of you know what I was going through. I jumped on the net to see if I could find a better price. I tried Ebay, Amazon, all the usual and then I found some funny looking sites. I was not silly enough to buy from them but I was intrigued so I kept searching. After an hour or so a night over a few days I came across RWG and decided I'd sign up and check it out. I ghosted around the forums here researching and trying to put it all together for a few days and then made my move. I now have the TAG HEUER CARRERA CALIBRE 16 (Rep) on my wrist and I feel like a normal human being again. I purchased it from Mary at Watch International whom was really helpful. I'm lucky I didn't have the wife with me or my wallet would be feeling a bit light right now. I move around a bit for work but right now I am In the Valley in Brissy. Didn't treat myself to any watches, although I did buy a very nice engagement ring for my fiancee........if only I had known then, that i would still be lumbered with her now!
