erang 0 Posted March 7, 2010 Hi all, It so happened that the pam111 homage I ordered arrived exactly on my birthday... I must say that I was amazed by the quality of the watch(!). I am no expert and this is my first homage watch but I have been lurking around in the forums accumulating paneristi wisdom and I think I got a lot of watch for a very good price. To be more specific: [1] The crown guard (brushed in my case) looks nice and sturdy. The pin is almost flushed. [2] The dial looks crisp and clean and the lume is nothing short of amazing (this is the superlume version). I didn't test it in darkness yet but it is already very visible in broad daylight. The H3 cannon pinion is very good. [3] The crystal (sapphire) is without AR coating and I feel that it could benefit from a good AR job. [4] The mechanism looks very good with a swan neck that looks functional (but I can't really know...) [5] The strap is soft and comfortable. The watch felt good on my wrist from the moment I put it on. So I guess it is obvious, I am very happy with this purchase and with the service I got from Tat who was very responsive and helpful. Here are some pics taken with a cell camera: Unwrapping The watch The strap Wristi Art...
greg_r 81 Posted March 7, 2010 Good deal. Tat sells a great watch - especially for the price. I've got three now and they're all excellent. Enjoy!

mad dawg 0 Posted March 7, 2010 What are the strap and stitch colours?
erang 0 Posted March 7, 2010 As a first time 111 owner I wasn't sure how a 44mm beast would feel on the wrist but it feels good and the size fits perfecly. I am happy with my decision to take the homage rather than the replica route. Being able to taste Haute Horology at a fraction of the price without taking the risk of being called out makes me feel very comfortable although I am already tempted to try other flavors as well... I am already getting some ooh's and ah's What are the strap and stitch colours? It's a Seal brown with a beige stitch
Member X 91 Posted March 7, 2010 Looks lovely Great first choice! I agree entirely with the sentiment that homages provide nearly all of the benefits of a gen with none of the worry of a rep. I'm very happy with my ones! The question is though, what are you buying next?

I'm very happy with my ones! The question is though, what are you buying next? That's a very interesting question. I don't have any immediate plans for another purchase right now (emphasis on the now...). I am going to try and bring back to life an old P. Moser watch that belonged to my father just for the sentimental value (I have posted about this watch last week). It is soooooooo small in comparison to the 111 though... ;-) Edited March 7, 2010 by erang
