sconehead 5 Posted March 17, 2010 ...I say put it out of it's misery...it's the only humane thing to do... You can pick up a cheap Sub that's miles better than this on one of our dealers sections at the moment for not much $$$, just look for 'New Budget Rolex Range Great Value'... AllergyDoc 40 Posted March 17, 2010 Not even worth getting a new insert and pearl for when you can get a nice new one for $100 or less.
KBH 7 Posted March 17, 2010 I agree with Scone. That has almost no redeeming social value. It even looks like the lume on the dial dots is stick on paper. the crown guards are horrible. The cyclops is way off. The bracelet is way off. For Around $100 delivered you could get a much , much better one.
marcodm86 0 Posted March 17, 2010 yep, the fact is that i'm in italy and i need an EU based seller, Precious Time asked 265 $ including delivery, i think it's very high price for such a common replica..
sconehead 5 Posted March 17, 2010 You could try Narikaa in the UK, he's not on the trusted list here but is reliable according to reports, check the shoutbox mate...
jmd33 0 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) You could try Narikaa in the UK, he's not on the trusted list here but is reliable according to reports, check the shoutbox mate... +1 To what everyone already said. Let the poor thing die with some dignity (if that's even possible). For example - take a looke at the 4 on the bezel, also look at the bad date magnification, etc, etc, etc,... . For $100 you can get a 21j that would be way better looking (try the noobmariner), or just have Narikaa send you any budget 21j sub (you'll be way happier - I know, one of those from Mexico was one of my very first reps years ago). trailboss99 997 Posted March 17, 2010 Actualy Sconey Narika is on the trusted dealer list here. He just doesn't have a section is all. Deal in total confidence with him. 100 dollars will get you something far, far better than that horrible thing. Give it to a young sibling/relative as a first "real" watch. Col. dingle 57 Posted March 17, 2010 Ship it to me. It will be lost in Miami customs or the bermuda triangle for sure
KBH 7 Posted March 17, 2010 Narikaa supplies Noobmariners. This one came from him.
marcodm86 0 Posted March 17, 2010 yes but at that point i want a sub with the ROLEXROLEX engravings and the crown logo on the sapphire
KBH 7 Posted March 17, 2010 I really don't know if the NOOB factory makes a model with the rolexrolex on the rehaut. Never thought about it much since I've always liked the older style. You'd have to ask Reg (Narikaa). It does have the logo on the sapphire as you can see in the picture. The logo on the sapphire is really over rated. On a gen you really can't see it without a loupe. On a rep it's way too noticeable. If you can see it with a naked eye it's too big. But, it's there if you like it.
KinCaidk 0 Posted March 17, 2010 shoot Narikaa a PM. he was online earlier today. I've bought from him too, and am very satisfied. was a Omega PO, though... not a sub.
alistairw 0 Posted March 18, 2010 The $100 Budget specials are worth a serious look, I have just purchased one and frankly they are sensational. Good luck with your decision.
trailboss99 997 Posted March 18, 2010 Hey alistair, have you been put on the Aussie members list yet? Shoot me a PM with your location and Email and I'll add you. Then when we have a get together in your area you will be notified so you can come along and meet some fellow watch nuts. Col.
