Am I wrong, or Panerai wanted that their straps and buckles be non de-attachable. By that I mean that leather was sewed on the watch case and buckle is in one metal sheet punched or stamped out piece/part.

 

Is buckle without springbar on PAM's?

Am I wrong, or Panerai wanted that their straps and buckles be non de-attachable. By that I mean that leather was sewed on the watch case and buckle is in one metal sheet punched or stamped out piece/part.

 

Is buckle without springbar on PAM's?

 

Most vintage builds and some straps have sewn-in buckle, which you can't remove unless you open up the leather strap. New Pams have buckle with screws, so you can easily remove the buckle and put it on diffrent strap or rubber, it's more conveniant :)

Modern Panerai use a screw buckle. Some vintage models used a sewn-in buckle.
