Ok, seller confirmed with the TD on RWI (Sead) that it is an Asian clone 2836-2 and was never meant to be a 3135 - it was wrongly advertised in the M2M sales thread.

Question answered, thanks for all the contributions! ;)

Move along now........:D

Derek please, do you have access to check GEN at Authorized Dealer ? When I have the BP DSSD in my hands, can't say if the OROGINAL ESCAPE GLASS VALVE is just too small, not wide..

or maybe I have already professional deformation from the Deep Sea Challenger

Probably not mate.

Maybe Jeff can help since he has the gen! ;)

eta clone.. 100% guaranteed.

proof?

the curved can only be found on swiss versions. This one seems to have it.

There's no proof.

IMO, there's also no reason to believe the stamping doesn't change and improve with the clones.

These stamps look to me not to be clean enough to be Swiss. I doubt the Swiss stamping is getting worse.

Just an opinion.

+1 I thought the same thing about the "curve" though recently have seen a few Asian movements with it as opposed to straight...
