themannier 0 Posted February 13, 2013 I know very well the eta 2836-2 cause i had to repair one, i am 100% sure that this one is a genuine swiss model with the Novadiac antischok(can be called KIF too); some of them can be built with the incablock sometimes ! razorblade 0 Posted February 13, 2013 The debate over swiss and clone continues, it's really difficult to differentiate between this 2. But it's for sure this isn't a 3135 clone.

J.Eric 693 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) That superclone looks like the movement in my DSSD I got from Mary. It was sold as an "upgraded" asian eta. It looks so good, I have a hard time telling if it is a clone And Happy Birthday Del!! :bcake: :bcake: :bcake: Edited February 13, 2013 by J.Eric
conx 0 Posted February 13, 2013 As it clearly isnt a 3135, I suggest you get a moderator involved Del. If you need help finding one, they are the guys in blue.
KeNnY 29 Posted February 13, 2013 I recently picked up a "BP Factory" DSSD with (apparently) an Asian clone 3135 movement. The pics below show what's inside - any thoughts? Isn't this a bog standard Asian clone 2836-2 with a Rolex sticker on the rotor? I thought the clone 3135s had more "Rolex stampings" and, at the very least, stated "3135" somewhere! I believe that the clone 2836-2 version is about $100 cheaper than the clone 3135 version too? Comments welcome! I expected to see something along these lines:- yes mate that is CLone eta I think best option to go , as the clone 3135 is just stupid. great buy
Luthier 1 Posted February 13, 2013 looks to be swiss ETA hard to tell, take a look at this and let us know if it is curved or straight. Curved will be ETA, straight is clone Not always correct. Hangzhou clone has straight, Seagull clone - curved. Here's Seagull clone without stamp.
