TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 Hi mates, A few days ago I started a thread discussing the availability of "no brand" or "sterile" tourbillon watches, some of you kindly pointed me out to some options but our friend Fatarms shared an amazon link that caught my eye and I decided to pull the trigger. So last wednesday received a box with this: (sorry for the crappy blurry photo) Inside the white box: According to the certificate my watch is the #176 out of 400, but the number on the case-back does not match, so I already sent an email to the vendor to clarify that: A very nice wood box: Inside the box: And here it is:

TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 One thing I immediately noticed is the fact the strap was wrong mounted: I fixed that, put it in the correct way and finally I could wear it:
fatarms 7,777 Posted February 15, 2013 Damn that thing looks sweet. Are you able to take video of the tourby action? Congrats Glad I could help you part with your cash
Corv99 2 Posted February 15, 2013 that is nice mate, good catch what size and how much was it?
TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 The watch itself is very nice, I really liked the way it looks and feels on the wrist, the strap is gen alligator. The power reserve is around 40 hours and keeps time very accurately. The only thing I did not liked is the crystal AR, because I think there is none. Well, onto the detailed photos:

TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 One thing I forgot to mention and Fatarms helped me to understand is the fact the dial is made of a piece of real meteorite, that´s the reason for the color and the "stripes". Here is the video, I don´t know how to embedded it: Thanks for viewing!!

TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 $1100????????? Isn't it kinda too steep??? Well, compared to one of those $600 tourby reps in the market, it could seems like a little bit too much, but I think is a fair price for a watch with special features like meteorite dial, alligator strap and nice tourbillon movement. Cheers my friend!
fatarms 7,777 Posted February 15, 2013 If you look closely on the outside of your crown, the center of it is also meteorite. Very cool.
TAGster 5 Posted February 15, 2013 Congrats on not conforming! Not too cool on the QC: Re strap and "limited" numbering. Gotta see that video Yes mate, those details kind of turn off the excitement about this kind of items. Even though is not a swiss timepiece but you expect a little bite of that luxury quality when getting an item like this. I already sent a message to the vendor, let´s see how the customer care turns out. Thanks!! 28,800bph. Shweet... This is the biggest tourby on market - 16mm!!! Thanks again Luth, I did not know this was one of the biggest tourby on the market. Amazon.com has one left, and Amazon.co.uk doesn't list it. Yes mate, when I bought mine there were just 2 in stock. Check the Stührling website, they list a bunch of on-line resellers, maybe one is on europe and has one available: http://www.stuhrling.com/ Really jealous right now That looks absolutely awesome.
