Nnilswerdna 5 Posted February 28, 2013 True, The Liquid Metal, Titanium and Ceramic are all new models by Omega. Beautiful watches in all honesty. I was in a Goldsmiths the other day looking at the movement, it's absolutely beautiful. I've always been a bit critical of Omega when it comes to showing off their skills but I'm happily eating my own words now.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted March 4, 2013 Is the "liquid metal technologies" part printed or engraved? I think with a scotchbrite one could scrub it off no? I'd be interested in knowing that too. However, as good as this rep is (almost unthinkable of replicating 10 years ago) the game is up the second you take it off and somebody notices that it is a 2824-2 masquerading as the master piece 8500 movement... I doubt the "Liquid Technology" stamp would make a difference! How many people are going to ask to look at the movement and realize what it is? Less than .01% of the population, probably less.
