Advancing Date Issue

Recommended Posts

tesmith2112

I have a UPO 45MM driven by a SW200. I can advance the date without issues using the crown, however some of the dates (mid-month) get hung up when advancing naturally. Sometimes I can tap the watch and the date advances, other times I have to use the crown. I'm curious what could cause this and is this type of issue an easy fix?

Date wheel, probably, touching the dial somewhere. Ask Chris, mate.

My Skyland does the same exact thing. Started happening shortly after Ziggy serviced it, would love to be able to fix it.

10:10 Watch Repair

There are a couple of screws on the other side that can poke through and rub on the DW. I have seen that a number of times.

Can this issue be addressed by simply loosening the screws? Does the dial need to come off the movement to do it?
