How about trying an Omega boutique, it's certainly the easiest and most effort free option

Why should he when there is a whole forum of help and experience here?

whenever they ask for help. You know the answer to his question so just tell him.

What's the point of the forum of you just tell new folks to go off and sea.

+1, that's what the flame free zone was created for.

I'll try to answer Yoav's question & tell him to wait a bit. There are currently two rep versions of the Bond At 50 Seamaster, but neither is really accurate enough to sink money into. Personally, I feel that since this is a specific "event" timepiece, you should hold out for one that looks as close to the genuine article as possible. At the very least, wait for one that doesn't use engraved numerals and markings all around the bezel (only the red "50" should be engraved.)

I know there's a majority of members here who look at this model with a marked degree of disdain, but as a Bond fan, I'm really looking forward to owning this in some fashion. A better one will come along, just be patient.

Mine will be in M2M soon. My father bought the gen overseas and the price was about $30,000 HKD. I have to tell him to stop doing that -- playing with the gens are putting me off reps. Luckily, it's highly unlikely he'll get the JLC tourbillon ($$$) so I'm safe there.

Not really since they're his. Maybe they'll trickle my way in a few dozen years.

My mate just returned from Thailand with one of these. 5000 THB. And it is pretty damn close. Much better than perfect clones version.

So, they are out there. Just haven't hit the forums yet

See, you didn't need to ask us. It's easy when you do a bit of searching. So go ahead, place the order, pay, and then --only then-- look at perfect clones in the search button. And then start to wonder if you have bought from Perfect Clones, or a Perfect Clones Clone.

Chatuchak is too expensive for foreigner in case of rep watch. Seller have many grade of rep such AA , AAA , AAAAA or noob. Maybe they will sell the AA grade (lowest grade) with noob price

The great way to buy rep I think that should order from online dealer

I just received mine in the mail a few minutes ago... Definitely not the best Seamaster rep out there, but Bond fans will overlook a few shortcomings. I ordered from our TD Reg / Narikaa. Check out his area of the forum for more info. Will try to post some pics over the weekend.
