Top Gun V3 - how to make it reliable?

Recommended Posts

Fli355

My top gun has broken again. First time it last 2 months before the crown would no longer screw in. This time lasted about 4 months and has the same problem. I love the watch but although it keeps time perfectly it could hardly be considered reliable.

Andrew from TT fixed it the first time after I sent it back but I would rather send it somewhere else to get "fixed"

Any suggestions guys?

Try one of the watchsmiths listed on our TD page: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=60

Scroll down about 2/3 rds to see the list - if you are in the US, then Chris is your man - 10:10 watch repair

Yeah I spoke to him. He said he couldn't make it any more reliable.

I think I should have bought the one with the swiss heart.

I've now seemingly been scammed by the watch boys. Ordered a new strap 2 months ago. Never arrived and no communication. He did contact me a month ago and said he was on holidays and would send one and then nothing. No emails no strap arrival.....

Paypal but over 45 days = No dispute allowed.

Really dissapointed as from the research everyone seemed happy with the watch boys. I never expected to be scammed.

Strange, my V2 has given no problems whatsoever.

So. My topgun rep had a fight with my hardwood flooring and lost. Case = cracked.

I had just bought some new straps if anyone is interested. Also if anyone wants parts let me know.
