greg_r 81 Posted March 31, 2010 Arrived this morning much earlier than expected (Jackson Tse only despatched this on the 26th - 5 days including a weekend from HK!!!!) It's a homage to the Panerai PAM 305. I'd been holding out for a rep of this model, but this was so inexpensive that I decided to go for it and may upgrade if and when a decent rep appears. This watch is 47mm and wears a little larger than a Fiddy. It comes with mineral crystals front and back and there's no AR. None of this is a surprise at the price. The movement is a standard 21J auto. My only two complaints about the watch are that a: the bezel is rather sloppy and b: the 15, 30, and 45 bezel markers are all mounted a little crooked. It's not bad enough to be worth sending back so I'll have a go a straightening them myself at some point. On the plus side, the watch came on the same strap that is supplied with the Cartel 'vintage' Big Egi, and is quite nice quality - not in the same league as Getat's but very acceptable indeed. Given that the watch itself is only a cheapie, I think I'll stick with it for now. Another big plus is that the lume is excellent - it's not quite as bright as my superlumed PVD 'Fiddy', but it's not that far short. An unexpected bonus Overall, I'm quite pleased with the watch - especially for the exceptionally low price ($78). No, it's not in the same league as my Getat watches - or, for that matter, my "mini egi", but it's good value for the money and better than a lot of cheapie reps I've had through my hands over the years.
