Swiss Legend Trimix

Recommended Posts

A year ago I purchased a Swiss Legend Trimix (Model SL-10541-GM-014). For only $100 USD I thought I couldn't go wrong. I have no idea where some of the websites get their pricing, as other sites had the same model listed for $595!

After two months, the "bolts" on the bezel fell out. It turns out that these were simply nothing more than press fit inserts with no threading at all. Taking from another hobby (RC Rock Crawling), I made up some proper threaded fasteners, and have since replaced all of the inserts (shown in photo)

I typically wear this watch for hiking, camping, paddling adventures. Apart from the inserts, it has faired well. There are actually very few small scratches on the casing, and the glass is flawless.

As for time keeping, the watch's quartz movement is accurate and the hands are well aligned (unlike some other Swiss Legend / Invicta watches).

Thanks for looking.
