CHOICE 127 or 243

Hello everyone, I want to buy a replica of the first and very confused. My choice fell on the Panerai models 127 and 243.I am confused by size, my hand is 20mm. Real watch look different,better?and there is a problem with the crystals? Please help advice .

Just get the 127. Or even the 217. Do yourself a favour - forget the other one

I just ordered a 243. Have owned a 127 (which at 47mm I felt too big for my wrist, and I'm 183cm tall and 92kg)

 

All a matter of personal taste

 

I'd have that hand of yours looked at first though

217 is not ordinary. It is exceptional. But a slight risk.

127 are a dime a dozen, great watches but every 2nd person has one

I have both and I can safely say, after wearing both that what you need to do is buy both 243 and 127.

Get both. They're both very good watches and very different (apart from saying 'Panerai' on them).

 

A 20cm wrist is big enough to wear either well.

 

Buy the one that appeals to you most and start saving for the other.

All down to personal taste. And whether your wrist can pull off a 47mm.

 

I had a 127. Gorgeous thing, but was just too bloody big.

 

I actually agree with Semaj though. Between those two, get the 217.

 

It's a bit rarer than the 127 which seems to be one of the "must have" PAMs for many (for good reason mind you).

Work your way up to a 187.

I have a 127, a 024 (similarish to the 243) and a 187 and the 187 is in a different league of bigness.

You seem to be leaning towards the 127 yourself, go with your gut, only you can be certain of what you like and if thats what you are feeling more towards then it's the one you like most.

 

don't over think these things, everyone has their own tastes, so trust your instincts. Use the force.

Do yourself a favor - get both! As both are excellent!

Just one thing - good 127 are out-of-stock at most TDs, and it'll take some time till they appear, and will be a bit more expensive then 243.

Если предпочитаешь более спортивный вариант - то 243, т.к. у 127-х более сдержанный вид, но они сногсшибательны.

Я, например, взял 127, т.к. это историческая модель, которая понравилась сразу и вряд ли когда-нибудь разонравится.

К тому-же, не забывай, что у 127-х ручной подзавод, а 243 - автоматы.
