That's great that someone wrote a response to the original article. My girlfriend reads Gawker and pointed it out to me a few months ago. I remember thinking that except for a small subset, watch entusiasts arent assholes, and the guy was comepletely full of shit. I'm glad that someone with better writing abilities than myself was able to offer an entertaining rebuttal. Nice diagram too.

On the arseholes we all know there is a subset of cocks who buy them, with no idea of what they are, don't really care what hey look like

But trying to one up one their mates versions...... Diamond encrusted versions etc, thinking premiership footballers, bankers, rappers etc

No fucking idea at all, and the more they pay the better!

Widely known on here we are probably much more savvy on what's what ! I love all the ones I have now, struggle to move some on, odd days I can open the drawer and just look at them, they are much more than watches!
