AllergyDoc 40 Posted April 6, 2010 This came in today from Get-tat. Ordered and paid for it 3 weeks ago. With EMS shipping it cost me $126. My first Fiddy was from Tony when he was on iOffer. I phased out of PAMs and sold it, then bought a modded Fiddy from Sead for $329. I thought it was too pricey for what I got so I sold it a while ago. I love the model (can't you tell) so I order this from Get-tat. Paid $6 for superlume. I chose the seal brown strap. Crown, CG, and lever: Lever fits very snug when closed but is loose when open. Movement: Comes with the swan neck thingy. Pretty good for the price. Lume shot: Pretty damn good. I'll give it the old "all night long test tonight." Who's that reflected in the crystal? Jesus? Wristie: My only minor complaint: the strap holes are "in between", meaning one hole is a tad too tight and the next a tad too loose. I guess I'll wear it on the tad-too-loose setting. All-in-all: a keeper! I like it as much as I liked Sead's, at about one-third the cost.
sconehead 5 Posted April 6, 2010 Who's that reflected in the crystal? Jesus? Not Jesus...Gerald Ford? Looks great for the price Doc, those Getat straps seem to be worth nearly the price you paid for the whole watch...
Relayman 0 Posted April 6, 2010 Great watch, great pics. But....... Some of us just need help knowing the day of the month as well as the time. Well, I do anyway. If one of these had a date indicator, it would be the ultimate watch having a p***** and a C***. ^_^
cybee 0 Posted April 6, 2010 Looks really good and the lever pin is flush. Hard to beat that for the money. ^_^

ebzen02 341 Posted April 6, 2010 Beautiful specimen there Doc.. I always knew you had great taste in watches Edit: did it come with that strap?
AllergyDoc 40 Posted April 6, 2010 I don't think that strap is standard issue, but you can pick any of his straps. You just have to tell him which one and what color stitching you like. I like your photos, as seen on your site.

AllergyDoc 40 Posted April 8, 2010 I'm pretty sure a deployment buckle wouldn't work with this strap.

AllergyDoc 40 Posted April 15, 2010 Just wanted to add how much I've been enjoying this watch. The strap, the lume... It's giving the Super Avenger and Skyland serious stress for wrist time. I wear it every night to bed. I've been told by air traffic control to keep it away from the window when it's charged--planes looking for the runway were getting distracted.
