tomtbone 0 Posted March 18, 2013 OP1 of "BRONZO BEZEL" for Hublot Big Bang is complete! I had some free time this weekend and was able to do some work in Solidworks and run some of these through our CNC lathe tonight. Yes, this is bronze. Next step is the 2nd OP; getting them in the mill and drilling the holes. Here's a few teaser pics. The last one is the underside of the titanium ring that came with my Big Bang Ice in comparison to my bronze version. My ring is an exact copy with all specs. Coming soon through a paypal near you! Have a good week everyone.
tomtbone 0 Posted March 18, 2013 Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I have the knurling tool to put the nice knurl around the edge too, just haven't gotten to that yet. I'm assuming these will fit any 44mm Big Bang.
Xebryus 0 Posted March 18, 2013 I hate you for having access to a CNC lathe.

gB. 0 Posted March 19, 2013 Very nice work! Love bronze on watches. But at the end if the day, it's still a fucking Hubloooooooooooooooot...
tomtbone 0 Posted March 19, 2013 It would be kind of cool to have bronze screws, but I would have to probably buy 1000 or something. Or get SS screws with a bronze PVD coating
tomtbone 0 Posted March 19, 2013 (edited) Very nice work! Love bronze on watches. But at the end if the day, it's still a fucking Hubloooooooooooooooot... Now I can see you hating in the general forum...but stepping into the Hublot forum and throwing down a ralphing emoticon??? In the words of Chris Carter..."Come on man!" Last time i checked...there wasn't a Tudor forum. :suck: Edited March 19, 2013 by tomtbone

tomtbone 0 Posted April 19, 2013 Good news! I finally had a chance to get the 2nd op completed on the Bronzo Bezel and it looks great. These are solid bronze and CNC machined for a precision fit. These are complete and I'll be making up a bunch more to sell. After that, I will try to get the diamond knurl on the sides to offer both versions. I realize this is not a for sale thread, but if you are interested give me a PM, I'm probably thinking $50 shipped once I get them run through and the faces brushed.
