Luthier 1 Posted April 11, 2010 I HATE PAMs!!!!!!! I hate PAMs... I do NOT like PAMs... FUCK ME!!! Why the Hell I'm doing it??? OK, I bought another PAM. Hallelujah, Greg. You can laugh now. Here it is. Hobnail seduced me, as well as PR. And AR. YES, I DO LIKE AR. Anyone recognize this mov't? I hope it's beautified 21J. And I definitely like brushed bracelet with polished central links. Mandatory wrist/lume shots. Lume - after 1 minute exposure to hotel room lamp. As a compliment to the watch - a few Montblanc pens. J12 for missus. Searched GMT 1958 for JoeyB, but found only this one, with crown guards... OH, By the way, it's my 2000th post!!! Sweet Mary sourced the new rotor for my favorite Chopard, to replace the old one, with bad engraving.

JoeyB 0 Posted April 11, 2010 I've not been interested in Pams either, but greg_r's PVD has caught my eye. He's getting to be a real pain in the butt... Thanks for looking, Luthier. With the crown guards would make a 1675, but they don't do the dial right. Oh, well. The quest continues!
graman 2 Posted April 11, 2010 Nice Luth...I see the treatment is going well....

JoeyB 0 Posted April 11, 2010 Thanks!!!So, anyone can enlighten me about this PAM model number and movement? Greee-eeeg!!!!!!! Where are you, when I need you??? And... anyone noticed, that Luth already a POWERMAX??? Congrats on POWERMAX!!! Someone should do an explanation of Pam models. I know there's one with that crown guard and one without, but then there are sub models in each. I don't know the difference between a fiddy, mini fiddy, 1950, etc. They all look the same to me. Luthier 1 Posted April 11, 2010 These without crown guards - Radiomirs, they aso famous for "wire" lugs, if you can call it "lugs". These "lugs" kept in place by 4 microscopic screws, and changing the strap is real pain in the ass. Fiddy, Mini Fiddy, etc... dark forest to me. I just know Fiddy is huge, about 50mm, if I'm not mistaken. Also there's Big Egi, 60mm, I think, it looks like wall clock on the wrist. Everyone who bought it, trying to get rid of it ASAP. Daylight and Regatta - chronometers, there's also Luminor Submersible, with ugliest bezel ever, looks like ship's window. But few models of PAMs are nice looking, but in general PAMs are not good enough to me to fall into obsession.
sconehead 5 Posted April 11, 2010 Well done in hitting powermax Luth...and welcome to the Pam club...each time you put it on your wrist it will steal a little bit of your soul...

greg_r 83 Posted April 11, 2010 OMG. Even I don't like that one....: Sorry, Luthier The bracelets are good though - and yes, that's a 21J with a customised rotor. I've no clue what that model it is, I'm afraid. It looks vaguely like a 222, but the dial printing is wrong if that's what it's supposed to be. I'm no expert on the PR models though as they're not really to my taste...

greg_r 83 Posted April 11, 2010 hmm - you sure? I thought the 090 had a plain dial...? Mind you, where these things are concerned:
