johnl 0 Posted April 2, 2013 I have been looking at old swiss movements on ebay as you can get a deal sometimes. The problem is I really have no idea what I am looking at. I have a few cheapies from priceangels that I would like to play with. What size movement would replace the 21j in a sub rep? I know this is a noob question be we all have to start somewhere. Any words of wisdom from you pros out there is appreciated. Thanks, john

greg_r 83 Posted April 2, 2013 Changing from a 21J to something better is more complicated than you anticipate. You'll need to change hands AND the movement holder for starters. Really not worth it...
