TAGster 5 Posted April 10, 2013 Hello Mates!! I´m so excited to start this thread and share with you all my joy: after some months of have been put my cents to savings, yesterday finally I got my new Seamaster Aqua Terra Blue Dial. I´ve been looking to have this watch since last year when I saw the Skyfall movie, because besides being a watch freak I´m also a big 007 fan. Before watching the movie I never suspected James Bond (Daniel Craig) would be wearing other model besides the classic Planet Ocean which he wore only on the first turkish scenes, so in the movie when I saw James Bond´s return, all dressed up and ready for action on the "new" MI6 HQ immediately noticed he was not wearing a Planet Ocean anymore, in fact at first glance I though he was wearing a Rolex Milgaus or something like that; then I realized it was an Omega indeed, because in the Q and 007 meeting scene I could clearly spot the Omega logo in the watch clasp. Well, after seeing the movie I did a google search and found out the watch was the Seamaster Aqua Terra, so the first thought that came to my mind was to look for the rep and I inquired Mary/Rochest for it but they told me there were only a black dial rep version of it available, so I ordered one. I was very pleased with the Aqua Terra black dial rep, it is a really nice looking piece but my mind was still set on the James Bond´s one. Finally, after some months wait I could be able to afford the real thing. Regarding the quality of the watch, it´s well known is top notch, it has the caliber 8500 with the co-axial escapement and the Si14 balance wheel, which makes it anti-magnetic. One thing I want to share with you all, is the great experience I had in the Omega Boutique: I was taken care by the store manager who was a very, very nice guy, he told me the story about this particular model which according to him, the watch was specifically designed by Daniel Craig request. He told me Craig wanted to wear a more elegant but at the same time trendy watch in the movie, so he asked Omega to design a blue dial, smaller case version of the AquaTerra for him in order to wear it in the next Bond movie. And because of that approach Daniel Craig has became Omega Ambassador, which is the first time in the Omega history that not only the 007 character is the Ambassador but also the actor himself. At the end I spent around one hour at the boutique, having a very nice watch chat with the manager, he also showed me the new Planet Ocean 45.5 Ceragold, which I must say it is just awesome!!! but also as pricey as awesome : 33,000 usd. Well, a little less conversation, a little more action so here are the photos: The goodie bag ^_^ In the box On the "Omega Chronicle" book that the store manager gave it to me as a gift ^_^ Where the magic happens: Swiss Made Lume Shoot And last but not the least, the wrist shoot I hope you liked the pics and Thank you very much for viewing mates!!! (Also did I read that price right? 33 thousand USD?) Thanks mate! And you just perfectly described it: pure sex. Yes, you read it correctly: 33,000 usd for the 45.5 mm Planet Ocean CERAGOLD... not for my AquaTerra... I couldn´t afford it great watch! I bet it was an even better buying experience at the boutique. Yes mate. The experience at the boutique was just awesome, I felt treated like a celebrity At the end I spent about one grand more compared to the on-line prices, but I think the personalized treatment and the certainty you are getting the real deal with full warranty just worth it. Diego_UK 0 Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) We really need a rep of this, and soon. Most of the allure of it is in the movement, admittedly, but I wouldn't mind owning a well-done rep while I save for the real deal. Edited April 10, 2013 by Diego_UK

The factories need to take a look of this piece, I believe the rep would sell fine. I was happy with the black dial rep, but I never could erase the gen blue dial from my mind. Cheers!
