GMT 1675 modded by KeNnY

Steve227

I bought a run of the mill 1675 Pepsi from Trevor around May last year after trying on a mate's gen 16710.

The 16710 was in good shape but at the time I was in to vintage watches so I wanted to try out an aged 1675, always preferred the Pepsi dial (must of watched too much Magnum PI in the good days).

After speaking with KeNnY and discussing options KeNnY set to work. The watch arrived back today (after I originally cracked the crystal within 5 mins of opening a little while ago).

Other mods include

- added gen aftermarket springbars

- replaced crystal for gen like aftermarket GMT crystal for 1675

- Repainted dial indexes

- Relumed puffy lume C3 superluminova aged tritium look indexes, hands

- Replaced datewheel for vintage silver look datewheel with open 6 and 9

- Reshaped case

- Repolished case

- Bleached bezel insert

- Regulated movement to work within COSC limits

- Greased all orings

- Waterproofed to 3 ATMs

The link to KeNnY's thread is at the bottom but here are some quick and dirty ipad pics I took today.

Good job KeNny and thank you.
